Many have had problems with the sensitivity, but I was lucky to not have that problem. It feels strange to play on, and the pads are pretty far apart from each other, making it hard to get the hang of quick rolls. This large and awkward drum kit takes up needed space in my basement. The color scheme they use(purple bass note) is ugly. After a week or so, my controller started to randomly strum notes even though I didn't press the strum bar. The "slide bar" is just a gimmick to sell new peripherals, as it honestly does nothing for you. But overall, the thing is large and awkward. The new star power button is a plus, and the large whammy bar makes it easier to get that little bit of extra star power. The new guitar controller has its ups and downs. A weak setlist provides an experienced player with little challenge, and little replay value.

The gameplay for the guitar is pretty solid, and it is nearly as good as the previous entries in the Guitar Hero series. Lets go over the fundamentals of the game. I had asked for this item for Christmas, and I deeply regret it now, as I could have gotten something else with that $180.

Honestly I do not think I have enough space for this review, but I really do recommend this bundle instead of instruments, you'll get a blast at the new generation of "Guitar Hero" And the guitar has a very unique touch-pad that really makes your brain go boom. The game play is amazing with drums how they are velocity sensitive and comes in a set of 5. The set list really brings back some memories and "OMG I HEARD THIS SONG BEFORE" moments.:D The set list is pretty awesome too, the singer actually has real gestures to the real artist themselves: Like Micheal Jackson, the singer dances like him, or Ozzy Bourne (actually in the game), done the things he's done live at his concerts. I've been playing that demo for about 13 hours straight instead of gazing at the "Rock Band 2's ION Drum Rocker". It still has a Rock Band basis behind its whole genre but comes out pretty cool. So when I gazed at it, I decided to play a bit of it, and then once I gotten deeper it actually amazed me with the drums and guitar. So I played this at E3 08' once I thought that the game was a "rip-off" from Rock Band. Works out great, I play both games but I use World Tour instruments only. I have RB2 also but I only bought the game (software) only. Overall, I think Guitar Hero World Tour is a much better game, mainly because of the instruments but the gameplay is good as well. The World Tour drums are compatible with Rock Band so I went back and played RB1 with them and I got MUCH better scores than I was getting with the RB1 drums. The drums are really fun to play, it takes a little time to get use to using the cymbols but after a few songs you'll get the hang of it.

The World Tour Guitar is excellent, just like the les paul but has a bigger strum bar and a really cool touch pad. The drums were always horrible and loud in RB1, but RB2 drums aren't so loud. Guitar Hero World Tour instruments are much better than rock bands! I never liked Rock Band's guitar and I still don't like the new one. The insruments is where the big differences are.

When I compare it to RB, the songs list is about to same to me. The song list could be better, but I still like it.I'm sure there will be plenty of downloadable content to get later on.
